USB-Hub for Tesla Model 3

QUICK NOTE: there are two versions of this HUB available; one for previous model built until June 2020 and one for the 2020 model.

This USB-hub is specially designed for Tesla model 3 and has advantages over other standard computer USB-hubs. The USB-hub for Tesla Model 3 fits precisely at the back side of the front console. The male USB connectors at the back of the hub fit exactly into the two female USB-ports in the front console. This assures the USB-hub to stick to the back of the front console to prevent a cable mess in the front console.

The front console of the Tesla model 3 has only two USB ports. Those are quickly used. If you use a double Qi wireless phone charger pad, no ports are left. But for sentry mode a USB-storage device like a memory stick or SSD drive is necessary. Further it might be handy to be able to charge other devices as well.

Further, the hub allows for additional USB ports in a hidden space to connect a USB-memory device for sentry mode.

If you are unsure, check your connections in the mid console below the screen. The difference is easy to determine.

• The older Tesla Model 3 pre-2020 has two USB-A connectors.
• The Tesla Model 3 2020 has one USB-A and one USB-C.
